Our Place-Dreamer Pod is our mobile dream studio. Listen below to hear how it came to be….

A micro-caravan towed behind Anna’s little Fiat van, the Pod is a solar-powered listening space for Radio Dreaming, recording booth and drawing studio all rolled into one. Inside the wood and aluminium pod, custom made by Nigel Gurney of Diddyvans Teardrop Trailers, is a comfy space for us to host visitors. Under the rear hatch is a cannily designed storage space displaying our tool-kit of ideas for Dreaming Place.

The little Pod  attracts a fair bit of attention which is fine by us. Our aim is to share our Radio Dreaming episodes in the counties of Fermanagh, Cavan and Leitrim, as well as around the world, so during our Radio Dreaming Pod Tour, we turned up at festival events, visitor centres and outlying homesteads, inviting people to climb on board to listen and dream.

“Radio Dreaming Pod-Parties” have proved a great success with much ambiance and exchange of stories, laughter and ideas. From red flannel to wild garlic, our evolving tool- kit of unusual props has  prompted many and varied  conversations and reactions. We have many new recordings of stories, music and sounds as well as a totally new set of collaborative drawings to share online and via future installations. We look forward to sharing new Radio Dreaming outcomes here on our website and via community radio. We’ll keep you posted!
